In honor of President Nelson’s 100th birthday, see a chronological list of announcements and changes that have happened in the Church since he became Prophet.

Born Aug. 12, 1932, President Dallin H. Oaks has served in the First Presidency since January 2018.

The new "Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Russell M. Nelson" manual is the first of its kind to begin publishing during a prophet’s life.

During his remarks, President Nelson invited mission leaders to make the Book of Mormon “the cornerstone” of teaching their missionaries.

Born on May 31, 1933, President Henry B. Eyring has served as a general authority since April 1985.
