The Church is working to improve child nutrition, strengthen families, provide disaster relief and bring safe water to communities in the West African nation.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has donated an X-ray system and a digital mammography machine to hospitals in San Pedro Sula to help improve health care in northern Honduras.
"You have done a great service to our children, and it will bless generations," said a local chief at one of the donation ceremonies in the West African nation.
